ABOUT UNIVERSITY
Orenburg State Medical University came into existence in the year 1955. The University
is located in Orenburg City which is nearly 1500 kilometers (918 mi) southeast from
Moscow. OSMU is adjacent to the border with Kazakhstan. Presently, there are over
550 scientific and staff members working with this University.
Orenburg State Medical University is considered one of the finest University in
Russia. The faculty provides the students with the field of General Medicine. Around
200 specialists pass out every year from this University who dedicate their lives
to serve the patients all across the globe. During the training program, there are
closely 54 subjects for the students. There are around 47 departments and 300 professors
and associate professors and doctors. The students get the chance to learn from
the elementals of the human body to the entire functioning of the body. The students
of OSMU are provided with hands-on training in the hospital campus itself for the
treatment of the patients. Within the syllabus, research work is included so that
students can enhance their learning skills.

Facts about OSU
The Orenburg State Medical Academy facilitates the students to study in a healthy
and flourishing environment on Academy Campus.
Students are encouraged to equally dedicate their efforts on studies as well as
extra activities.
From 1 to 3 February 2013 in Kuvandyk passed XVII traditional open tournament in
women’s volleyball team, dedicated to the Hero of the Soviet Union VG Kozenkova,
participated in the tournament 11 teams of the Orenburg region, including the Women’s
National Team Volleyball OrGMA .
At the first stage of the tournament revealed the robust team in the group stage,
the final games of the competition took place on February 3, according to the results
of preliminary meetings.
The team of OrGMA lost in a bitter struggle in the subgroup, where their opponents
were teams: g.Yasny, g.Kuvandyk, Buzuluk OGTI (Orsk) and the village Ziyanchurino.
In the second sub-group relations defined by the command: OGPU (Orenburg), Sol –
Iletsk was Akbulak KeiB (Orenburg) and Novotroitsk.
From 3 to 8 December in the PR department of Orenburg State Medical Academy and
in groups to prepare for university entrance held “Week of Russian language.”
whole hearted participation of students have taken courses of all groups of the
department.
As part of the week was a competition for the “Best literate” and they were: Vasilyeva
Vasilina, Yerokhina Xenia, Krygin Anastasia Bogdanova Ilzira, Ermukanova Madina,
Maximova Daria. Boys excitedly decided linguistic crosswords, enthusiastically talked
about the importance of phraseology. But with even greater interest, students took
part in the preparation and implementation of intellectual marathon “Know! You do
not know – Know! “Where, using illustrations and card-set, hand made, they talked
about the art of poetry, painting and music.
As a holiday decoration performed songs based on poems by Yesenin, Okudzhava by
Erokhina Xenia accompaniment of guitar music and the gentle sounds of a flute.
Admission Procedure
STEP 1: Apply Online
Have a rigorous glance at all the minute details of the University before choosing
any course. An applicant can pen down all the details and respond us documents through
email. List of Documents required for the application are mentioned below:

• Eligibility certificate issued by Medical council of India/if NEET not passed

STEP 2: Invitation Letter Procedure
Once the verification of the documents is done, all the selected or rejected application
of the students will be notified within 1-2 working days. Also, admittance affirmation
will be informed in the same duration.
STEP 3: Fee Remittance
After the confirmation is received by the selected candidate, He or She can pay
the fees via net banking or online transfer.
STEP 4: Visa Application
Thereafter when the invitation letter is issued, student needs to apply for visa
promptly as Visa process is tedious and could take time.

• International passport (With minimum validity of 2 years)
• Duly attested certificates of high school
• Medical certificates confirming that the student doesn’t possess HIV/Aids and
other STDs.
STEP 5: Arrival at Russia
First Year fees has to be paid by the student before landing at Russia. An executive
will be assigned to the student after arrival to receive and guide them, hence share
the flight details before leaving. By any chance the student forgets to inform us
about the arrival to the country he/she could be deported back to the home country
by the authorities of Immigration.
STEP 6: Commencement of Classes
It is mandatory for every student to bring a complete of original documents and
payment receipts of first year. It is important for a student register himself/herself
at the college after 3 days of arriving in the country. After the completion of
the registration process and admission process, a student will be allowed to attend
the classes. Make sure to apply to the University before the application deadline.
Once you get admission to the University you will most likely depart f your home
country in the 1st week of September itself.
